Sunset at Bermagui Wharf

Sunday 17 September 2017

A cold night after the cold windy day, but awoke to a beautiful Sunday morning and clear blue skies. Only light winds, but there is still a chill in the air.

Time to investigate the town of Bega. Not too much happening in Bega on a Sunday morning. The men paid a visit to Supercheap after which we stopped for morning tea and then headed to the Cheese Factory.

A very interesting place with cheeses to try, an info place, an interesting display of dairy farming in the old days and some local craft for sale.

Back on the road and off to Tathra. A visit to the wharf area after checking it out from cliff tops above. A lovely spot which Don can remember visiting in 2003 with Neil & Judy. Decided to have lunch there, which was most enjoyable.

Back to Bermagui along the coast road with a couple of stops at different beaches/bays, all quite rugged and scenic. Some interesting history in these places.

Enjoyed a cup of tea together in the sun after returning, followed by fish and chips at the Bermagui Wharf. A nice ending to the day and our time in this lovely spot.
