We are in a great campground, as we were led to our spot it looked hilly and full of seasonal campers, then opened into an open area with nice long and flat pull thrus. Went into Jamestown, home of Lucille Ball to visit the Desilu studio and Desilu museum. Jamestown was established in the early 1800's and the downtown has old architecture and character, many working class homes line the main highway. The town has several murals of the Luci Show.
The studio museum had recreations of the Ricardos' New York City apartment living room and the Hollywood hotel suite. There was a video of the Vitameatavegamin ad. Also displays about both Lucy and Desi growing up and their film accomplishments. The show was groundbreaking in TV production methods as a live show and we learned about that as well.
