The Olson's Retirement RV Adventures travel blog

Our campsite.

Again.

A tip of St. George Bay at the end of our campground.

Lobster traps line the entrance.

We are now at Linwood Harbour Campground. Very small and rural with only 37 sites, but nice and clean. It has filled up since we setup.

Our satellite doesn't work here and we are only able to get one TV station. Our plan was to stay in and rest before we went exploring the next day.

We went out for dinner, after driving for a while we found the only 2 restaurants in the area. Subway, and a Gas Station/Truck Stop. The truck stop restaurant advertised fresh Lobster, we picked that one. The dining area was in back with a view of The Strait of Canso. It was very nice and quite busy. We had cod, shrimp, scallops and clams, all very good. No lobster.

The Strait of Canso makes the whole north end of Nova Scotia an Island.
