Car Ferry on the way to San Juan Island

Bundled up At Friday Harbor

Friday Harbor

Finally made it. We have now visited the northern part of Maine, Key West, Southern California and Northern Washington. All great places with their own different types of areas. This area of Washington is absolutely beautiful. We are staying on a bay that is owned by an Indian Tribe owning all the businesses and controlling almost everything in the area. We took the ferry from Antacortes to Friday Harbor on the San Juan Island. We drove to the small town of La Conner. Many cute shops filled with work by local artists.

We also walked around Antcortes to visit the local Farmers Market and buy some fresh produce. The scenery always has the mountains framing everything. Weather in the 40s at night and 50s during the day so we were bundled up to stay warm. It rained some almost every day.
