Around Australia adventure travel blog

We had packed up our camp at Geoff's and were back on the road by about 10.30am this morning. Our route was fairly straight forward- turn right onto the highway just past Geoff's and head east through Morewell and Taralgon. We had decided to drive only as far as Rosedale so as the total journey to Paynesville wouldn't be too much in one trip, so in all a fairly easy day. We arrived in Rosedale about lunch time, and, after parking the van in Willow Park, we walked the dogs back into town to get some bread rolls for lunch. It was a very enjoyable walk to town there and back via a dedicated walking track well away from the highway.

Willow Park is a very pleasant free camp area apart from one thing- and that is the that it is right beside the highway and the traffic seems to be non stop. Hopefully, it will be quieter overnight! However, we have had a pleasant, quiet afternoon recharging the batteries after all of our socialising this last week or so!
