| Cheticamp - Cape Breton The next day we drove on the West side of Cape Breton. After short while into our trip, we stooped at a roadside Dancing Goat Cafe & Bakery and got coffee & scones. We had lunch at La Gabriel restaurant in Cheticamp and then up to Pleasant Bay where we turned around at Rusty Anchor Restaurant We had stopped at numerous viewpoints today, but it was windy and heavy rain at times. Sometimes you have to take what you get with the weather. The views were just amazing, sun or no sun. There have been various highway upgrades on our trip, As always we ran into construction delays that we experience here. This was almost an 8 hour drive, some tourist have driven this in one day. There is so much more to see here. |
