Arrived early this morning at the port of Warnemunde. Very foggy. This is about 3 hours your train from Berlin.

We took a shorter train trip to Rostock. Lots of graffiti on the buildings beside the train tracks.

This is truly a lovely city with many beautiful buildings. Wandered along the shopping street and had a hot dog and ice cream cone for lunch. Ice cream not as good as Denmark or Norway but I still ate it (of course). Meals are a lot cheaper to purchase here. We took a cruise back to Warnemunde later in the day and walked along the pier. Then went looking for a grocery store - the crew really stock up their snack supplies here, saw many of them carrying huge bags back to the ship. The chocolate bar shelves were almost empty in the store.

I brought 3 pairs of good walking shoes with me for this trip. First pair is worn out, just like me.......but tomorrow is a sea day so I have time to rest up for our next port Tallinn
