This morning after breakfast we are off to the town of Uyuni and a trip to the salt flats will be about a 9 hour drive to get there, and for the next few days will not have much internet so will be up dating we I can. see on the flip side. The trip to Uynui took about 8 hours driving across the high plains of Bolivia see lots of small farms along the way raising llama, cattle, sheep and growing some small grains. Along the way we saw small heads of vicuña a wild llama, and watched the changing landscape before reaching Uyuni around 4:30 in the afternoon, short briefing then out to walk around the small town of 20,000 people. This is the starting point for the trip into the salt flats, we will be traveling in small 4x4 for the next 3 days before returning here to Uynui.
