The infamous 7 mile bridge to Key West.

The view.

More view.

Straight ahead.

They're circling.

Now thats Key West.

Local street.

Duvall street. Compared to Canal St. in New Orleans.

Entrance to Ernest Hemingway's summer home.

Across the street from the Hemingway house.

The Lighthouse.

Local art.

Some typical homes downtown.

Not so typical house.

Decided to take the South side exit along the beach.

Along the surf wall.

We do not know what that is, but interesting.

Today was dedicated to going to Key West. It is a 2 1/2 hour drive from our RV park so we knew it would be a long day.

The drive from Florida City to Key West goes through several towns. It goes through the center of the towns dividing it as the Gulf side and the Pacific side. The towns are older and established. They take you back to the 60s or 70s.

Once we hit downtown Key West we were among many tourist looking for a parking spot. We cheated and parked in the cruise ship parking lot. We had to walk about 5 blocks and joined the crowds. There is lots of shopping and restaurants.

We visited Ernest Hemingway's summer home.

We left downtown and drove over to the beaches and made several stops to watch people and enjoy the ocean.
