Coming into the Cliffside Park

While we were at Waupun County park with John and Nancy they took us to several of the local shops. One was Tom Dooley's Orchard. Not only did they have alot of things made out of apples like caramel apples and apple squares. The caramel apples were ok but the apple squares were really really good. They were like a personal apple pie. The topper was ice cream at 25 cents a scoop. The Pecan Praline was very good. We also went to the Brandon Meat Market. We got several different types of sausages and cheeses. WE found 2 new things. One was called Ground Bologna. They ground bologna and add relish and mayo. It is used on crackers or a sandwich spread. Also we got tube of ground meat with gravy and a sloppy joe that is already mixed up. You just warm them up and serve. We tried the Sloppy Joes for dinner and it was good. We also went out to the Horicon National Wildlife Refuge. It is a very large marsh that supports a variety of waterfowl.

We did find a geocache here in the park. It was our first one in Wisconsin. Maybe we can find a few more before we leave the state.

We made it to the Cliffside RV Park in Caladonia, WI. We will be here for a bit until Karen joins us and then we will head South.

We had a good time with John and Nancy. They headed out Sunday to Dallas. They had arrangements to work for Amazon until after Christmas. Catch you down the road!!!
