Today was an easy riding day broken up with stops to friends and relatives in Manitowoc.

Around 9:45am we headed out from Sue and Jim's house and stopped at Ann's mother & father. Ann's sister Peggy was also up from Georgia so we had a nice visit with all. After lunch we headed out to visit my mother at St Marys Home.

My mom was happy to see us and couldn't believe we rode our bikes all the way from the Appleton area. She was very interested in it all. We showed her a few photos of our tour so far and then took her out to see our bikes and explained what we put where. When she said, "cute", all we could do is smile. We took her for a nice walk and stayed with her for a little over an hour.

We then made a quick stop at my sisters where we enjoyed a drink and some conversation.

We made our last stop at our friends Bill and Candy where we were to stay overnight. Ann has known Candy since 2nd grade and Bill and I since kindergarten...stood up in each other's weddings and have been lifelong friends.

Candy had plans to meet friends for awhile so Bill, Ann, and I went out for dinner at Fat Seagull...great burgers. Bill then took us to pick up a few things we needed and then we met Candy at our favorite ice cream place in Manitowoc, Beerntsen's.

Pretty relaxing day and it was great to see everyone.
