Our flight to London included a transit stopover at Dubai where we landed around 7.00am local time after a seven and a half hour flight from Brunei. Only a 1.20 hour stopover to service the 787, by the time we disembarked, walked about half a kilometre to the transit area, it was then through a security check before heading downstairs and walking back the same distance to our departure gate,C9. Sat around for about 20 minutes before boarding - we used the special assistance offered - the staff recognised Kristian was blind - and got priority boarding - it all helps, and so we took off heading to London, Heathrow. The flights have been good split into 6 to 7 hours, and the Dreamliner 787 is an excellent aircraft while Royal Brunei give you plenty of leg space. The flight to London was a dawn rising flight - the morning sky impressive arriving at 6.30am, May 01.
