Cactus Country RV Park

More Cactus

Moving day again, this time to Tucson Arizona. We have a site at the Cactus Country RV Park that is about 10 miles from downtown but still in the City of Tucson. Found out that Tucson is 500 square miles, which is huge because it is spread out. This was a tough drive because it was about 60 miles for the day, I can handle this. We arrived at the campground around noon so the rest of the day was open, so I didn’t do anything. Candy ended up finding a Wal-Mart and went shopping for a while. Great campground, but we are roughing it a bit, the sites are gravel and not a cement pad. The one thing people always told me was there is no grass in Arizona, just stones. That is a correct statement, but at least you don’t have to mow it. It was a long drive so I did take a nap. God I love this, 70 degrees and the sun is so bright a person must shield their eyes. It is pretty out here because Tucson is located in a valley between the Santa Catalina, Tucson, Tortohta and Ricon Mountains. Maybe this why the climate is so nice.
