Arrived in Hughenden about 14:30 Monday, got a permit to park in the RV parking area which is actually the showgrounds car park. Inevitably very brown and dry but a really strong wind blows most of the day so it's not as hot as it could be. Today I visited the Discovery Centre wherein there is a large collection of dinosaur fossils complete with a skeleton of Muttaburrasaurus, a very interesting museum. Visited the inevitable Vinnies op shop but found nothing to buy!! A first!! Also paid a visit to Porcupine Gorge, a lovely place, but I forgot to take photos!! Can't believe it!

This afternoon discovered an ominous water leak where the water hose enters the floor below the toilet. Too hot to do anything today, but tomorrow morning, when it's in the shade I will get underneath and see what I can do. Will let you know. Tomorrow we are off to Richmond where the dinosaur stuff really gets serious.
