The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

We had enjoyed our time in Stockholm and would definitely return sometime in the future but it was now time to start heading south.

Our next destination was the small town of Grȁnna on the second largest lake in Sweden, Lake Vȁttern. Our journey was straightforward except the last bit where we had to take it very slowly through the narrow main street of Grȁnna. It would have been better if they had not allowed parking on the street.

We were allocated a lovely hardstanding pitch overlooking the field and the lake. There were two other American motorhomes, both Swedes and one the same size as us but again we stood out because of our colour. We set up but found we had no electricity from the pod so after going back to the office the site electrician was called. It turned out that the electronic monitor of consumption had failed and after he replaced it everything was fine.
