End of the day with our awesome guide Pieter!

As I said at lunch today....I'm digging Cape Town! What a great and full day. We had a private tour for the four of us - our guide/drive Pieter was amazing.

We got to experience the "tablecloth" of Table Mountain - literally we were sitting at breakfast when the clouds rolled in - one minute it was gorgeous the next you couldn't even see it!

We started by going to Hout Bay to check out the seals. As Pete said the perfect trip for him - about 45 minutes in total. We left there and went to Chapman's Peak Road. It was (in theory) a gorgeous drive - we had a lot of fog, so at certain points we couldn't seen anything (see the photos!)

We then drove to the Cape of Good Hope - so cool to see something you've heard about for forever! We rode the funicular up to the old lighthouse and did some hiking around the top to the end of the point.

Had an amazing lunch at a seaside restaurant and then went to see the African penguins - they were so cool!! They just hang out on the beach and I don't know why, but I laugh every time we see them walk.

We then made our way to Groot Constantia - the oldest winery in South Africa. That was a blast - great tasting room , good wines - and of course we bought 5 bottles!

Ended the day at Kirstenbosch botanical gardens - it was huge and beautiful, but we are here in winter so not everything was in bloom.

Pieter told us that in the last 2 days we did all of the "Big 6" in Cape Town - woo hoo we win!!!!
