The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

On our visit to the tourist office the young man recommended an area called Akulla Beach Forests a nature reserve ideal for walking. The area covers over 5,200 hectares and has around 20 lakes. After studying the extensive walking trail book we decided to do the Skogsbo trail, a trail that took us across five hillocks. It had rained briefly overnight so some parts of the trail were a little slippery but very well marked. It was also a good cardiac workout has some of the hillock slopes were quite steep. They were no problem for Daisy with her four paw drive but sometimes she looked pityingly at us as we climbed up the hills. The climbs were well worth it with great views over the area.

An excellent walk.
