|We met our friend's son Alex for breakfast before leaving town. We have known Alex since he was a teenager. Our RV park was full for the weekend so we had to leave on Friday. Alex was traveling for his job and Friday morning was the only time we could hook up. We feel bad we didn't have more time to meet his family. It was good to see him and how well he is doing.
It was another 150 mile day. The drive included some mountain climbing and descending. Our site is on the south branch of the Clearwater River. There is a railroad behind us which doesn't seem to be active and the parked RR cars gives the park a rustic feel. We are parked right on the river. It is a pretty little park tucked in the area. We are here for 3 nights.
Somewhere near here is where Lewis and Clark started following the Clearwater River down to the Snake river. We will check out the area the next two days. It is 100 degrees during the day, 63 at night. Great for sleeping. Just a little miserable during the day. Thank goodness for air conditioning.
