We headed north once again. This time we crossed into Denmark and headed to a campground near the town of Haderslev but on the coast at a small place called Arosund. We had contacted them and they said they could accommodate our “big rig”. The roads to the campground were no problem and the entrance wide and easy to manoeuvre. However their normal pitches were a little short for us although large width ways so in the end they agreed that there would be no problem in us parking parallel across two pitches. They were not very busy.
Later on we had a lovely walk into the village along the beach.
We have discovered very quickly that the Danes speak very good English but we now have to get used to the Danish Kroner rather than the Euro.
We will use this campground as a base to explore the South Jutland area of Denmark
