The tree sculpture at the entrance is eye catching

cafeteria/coffee shop in one of the bridges

Mammoth at entrance of Native American museum

Rained all day today. Temp is in the 50's. I miss the warmth and the sunshine. I hope the dreariness ends soon.

The museum galleries at Crystal Bridges open at 11:00. If you show up early there is a lovely cafeteria/coffee shop where you can wait. The museum is free ( underwritten by Walton Foundation) and the collection ranged from portraits by the masters, landscapes and everything else including modern art . Most of the famous artists are represented . There are four galleries connected by "bridges" and you just follow from one to another. The building itself is a work of art and very pleasant to be in and around.

The Native American Museum (also free) was quite a wonderful surprise. It is small and I didn't have great expectations but it is very well done. Huge collections of headdresses, dance fans, effigy pots, and arrowheads.

OnStar has alerted me to low tire pressure so before I tour around tomorrow I will have to correct that situation. I still have lots of driving ahead of me and I need everything to be ship-shape.
