It's not an overstatement to say that we spent the whole freaking day in the car today. We'd left early enough from Yorkshire to make it to Bosworth Battlefield by 1.30. A double lorry collision on the M1 at 6.30 that morning meant we were stuck on the freeway from 9.30 to 3.30. At one point or car didn't move for an hour and people were getting out of their vehicles and walking around. We reached badgers mount late in the afternoon and decided to stay put. We've realized that most meals in this country are based on cheese. Not a lot of red meat, plenty of seafood and the occasional chicken dish, but everything comes with minimal salad or peas and corn. We shared a big bedroom and had a good sleep and breakfast before leaving for Leicester.
