I spent half the night in with Caleb as he had a bad stomach again during the night. Poor kid felt unwell and just wanted to be home, I was with him on that one seeing as how long our trip would be.
Finished off packing and tried to look at booking a night in a hotel in KL but that was all a bit of a drama in the end and no rooms available anyway, probably due to Chinese New Year.
Headed off to the airport with plenty of time, not that Kathmandu airport is big or over security. Got something to eat while Kelvin watched New Zealand win at the cricket. Kept Caleb on plain food but he seemed good.
5 1/2 hr flight to KL was pretty uneventful for us although there where a whole heap of Nepalese guys who were obviously flying for the first time and it was funny to watch. They were a work party going off to work in another country to try to earn some better money, sad to think when they may see their families again.
Arrived in KL and the whole process of scanning your index fingers at imigration was a novelty for the boys.
Found a spot against the wall at Air Asia check in, along with a load of Korean teenagers and got the sleeping bags and pillows out. Grabbed McDonalds and we were sorted for the night. Caleb was excited about his first airport sleepover, lol. 12am, we had 6 hrs before check in opened.
