Heading West for the Summer/Fall of 2013 travel blog

Today we entered Pennsylvania

This morning we left Clarksburg, WV after a horrible night of heavy weather. The wind was whipping and the rain was tremendous. Got so bad we had to pull in our slides and we still couldn't sleep.

Then we were ready to leave and noticed we had loss of power coming from the Turbo Engine. So we limped to Washington County, PA and was there for a few days so Tom could attend his Mid-Atlantic Division Hamfest known as WACOM which was to be held on Sunday. He had a great time. We camped a few nights at the fairground where Debbie enjoyed having the motorhome there so she did not have to spend all day at the very cold hamfest.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with the Edgar's. Bill N3LLR and wife Kathi. Bill took us sightseeing. One place we stopped in Pittsburgh, PA was the Incline.

Fun was had by all.

Still to be determined the cause of the loss of power in the motorhome.

Mileage: 34,185.3 ending 34,266.0
