Ann Murray Exhibit

In Her Youth

Lots of Hits!

Pugwash Street Sign

Today we joined the Burkes for a shorter trip to Springhill and Pugwash. Springhill is where Ann Murray, the great Canadian singer, grew up and is home to the Ann Murray Museum. We spent a full two hours touring the exhibits in the museum and recalling the many hits of Ann’s career.

We drove further south to Pugwash. Pugwash is a small community on the water where the streets bear both English and Gaelic names and where Cyrus Eaton once hosted Albert Einstein, Bertrand Russel and other great minds in search of world peace. Of course we are still working on that with little success.

We had a nice dinner in Pugwash and drove back along the water to Amherst.
