We have driven around the perimeter of Door County for the past two days. It is filled with tourists mostly from Wisconsin. Lots of cars!!!kids!!!campfires!!!

Peninsula State Park was fun to see as we drove through the campgrounds. We visited the Eagles Bluff Lighthouse built in 1832. The Eagle Tower provided majestic views for Grandpep and Julia. Grandma was in the truck!! The 75ft. tower stands 225ft. above Green Bay.

We took a fireboat cruise along the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal and to the Sherwood Point Lighthouse. The "Fred A. Busse" was built in 1937 for the Chicago Fire Department. The drawbriges were fascinating to watch as we cruised. The DOT just put 33 million dollars into the upkeep of the bridges.

Door County has an amazing county park system. There are eleven parks on the Green Bay and Lake Michigan waterfronts. We visited the busiest one!! Cave Point...
