it is slow going today. everyone seems exhausted. i have my usual stuff to do, morning walk to the high street to get milk for alex and breakfast for the kids, log into the internet cafe to do more travel planning for our next adventure, france, and the stinking laundry which i keep saying i am going to do but i blow it off over and over and so now there is all of it to be done and i have no choice. so it is late afternoon before we set out for the city. We take our favorite exit goodge street and walk past the british museum and london u over to coram fields, a playground, huge really many playgrounds, that requires all adults to have a child with them for admission. it is fun and over too soon, the place closes down at 8pm. london may have 7 million people living in it, but none of them are willing to work past 8pm and the whole place shuts down early - malls, cafes, parks, museums everything. in fact a lot of it is done by 6pm. Anyway, we close the joint, get back on the tube and pick up fish n chips from a skipjacks for dinner and go back to aunt noras for tea.
