The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

After a day of domestics we packed closed up the coach and made a move to Nunspeet further east and north in the Netherlands.

The move went well and we found the campervan park without any problem. The owners were very welcoming despite not speaking very much English. We were quickly in our space and set up with a view over farmland. The campervan park or in German stellplatz only takes motorhomes and very rarely take reservations. This one had 30 places but we discovered later on in the week could take more if necessary. Here unusually they had a small shower and toilet block. All the pitches had electric and there was a tap to fill up your tank and a chemical and waste water disposal point. The price was good at 15 Euros per night all in.

In the evening our hosts invited all the campers to coffee in their small recreation room. It was an enjoyable evening with us learning a little Dutch getting by with gestures and several other campers spoke some English.
