29th

After enjoying some restful days, time to be on the road again. Heading towards Gilgandra where we will have a rest stop to fuel up the car, fridge and bodies before continuing onto our stop for the night. Gilgandra is a small town with a population of 2900 is known as the place of windmills and home of the coo-ee.

Arriving at Gulargambone with a population of 500. We have booked into the caravan park. The park is very small old but clean with very friendly hosts. After a short stroll through the shopping center where we discovered the supermarket and the hotel motel were the only things opened on a Monday. Enjoying a lovely cold drink we then head back to the van for lunch. The highlight of the day will be the savoury damper cooked by our hosts at happy hour.
