The beautiful landscape of Tuscany. We took this photo from the train...

After a brutal train ride complete with snoring French men and a gaggle of people who were obviously opposed to wearing deodorant, we arrived in beautiful Florence! As soon as we stepped off the train, we felt as if we had stepped back in time. Florence was the heart of the European Renaissance where Da Vinci and Michaelangelo did some of their greatest works.

The town was crowded with tourists from all over the world, but it was so beautiful that it was still magical. We hit Florence during their hottest days of the year. It was well over 100 degrees and we baked under the Tuscan sun. No matter how hard we tried, we always got lost and walked for miles and miles. But not to worry, since around every corner was another historical treasure and the freshest and most delicious food imaginable!

The food and style in Italy are second to none, and we are loving every minute of our time here!
