Raining on the street in front of our hotel

Waiting for the rain to stop at the Red Paino

The long road home

The last day in Siem Reap it rained all day, so all we could do was sit in a cafe and read. It gave us a lot of time to prepare for the long journey home. This time it took us 7 hours to make it to the border. We crossed just before it closed. We then travelled the last 4 hours back to Bangkok, stayed the night at Nicole's aunt and uncle's house and then took an 8 am flight to Phuket in the South of Thailand. As of July 25th we are now in one of the places that was hit by the tsunami, but it doesn't seem that there is that much damage anymore. We haven't gone to the beach yet and we will see if there is any damage there. We will be here for one month taking a class to teach english. It is a nice place and the air is so dewey sweet you don't even have to lick a postage stamp.
