The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

Another wet day so we drove through Chedder Gorge. This limestone gorge runs through the Mendip Hills. Although not large the gorge was quite impressive.

Later we explored the small town of Axbridge which in Tudor times was a centre of cloth manufacturing. It had a number of interesting Tudor building in particular the King John's Hunting Lodge (actually a Tudor building) which is now used as a museum.
