looking across the daed sea to Jordan

the 14th of Sept was off to the Western Bank crossing into the Judean Desert along the dead sea to the hill top fortress of King Herod, Massada, a cable car ride to top of the mountain to explore the ruins of the fort. Massada was the place of the last hold out for a group of Jewish people from the roman armies, there were some 1000 men, women and children inside, when the roman armies broke though the walls, the men killed their wives and children so they would not be raped and made into slaves of the Romans, then the last 10 men draw piece of tile to see who would be the last man alive he would then kill the others and then would kill him self, so when the Romans entered the fort all were dead inside. Some lunch at the bottom of the hill ( McDonald's) lol the on to the have a dip in the Dead Sea and to be covered in mud, a shower then a dip in the hot warm pools before calling it a day and heading back to my hotel in Jerusalem.
