Our From The Bottom To The Top Trip travel blog

We left Hay yesterday morning. The day before on our rest day I cleaned the 'van and Barry went back to the museums that we went to last year.

We stopped at an antique shop which was closing down in Deniliquin and Barry scored an art deco, bakelite & chrome smoker's stand in excellent condition - is going to look great in the shop. We stopped at Echuca for lunch and a loaf of the super sourdough bread. After a wander around we left for Bendigo.

When we came across the border the skies opened and it bucketed down - so much that I was cleaning up some puddles inside the 'van when we stopped at Echuca! The column heater is doing a great job - it was 0 last night and we didn't even know - very happy with that!

We got here late afternoon and are staying at the showgrounds - different to the Hay showgrounds, but still good. We are very excited that the Sunday market is on at the showgrounds - just below the 'van, so no excuses for being late lol!

Ok time to head off as Barry has found 24 garage sales today, so we are up for a busy day and hopefully some good shop stock by the end of it.

Over and out,

M & B xx

PS 8 sleeps!
