As we were in Buxton close to Stoke-on-Trent and Derby we took the opportunity to meet up with some of our respective cousins who lived in the area.

Our first visit was to Tony's cousin Hilary and her husband Don. Hilary and Don still live in the house where Tony's Dad was born and his Capper grandparents had lived. It was a lovely day again so we enjoyed sitting out in the garden, enjoying the views and Tony and Hilary reminiscing. A very enjoyable day.

The next day was equally enjoyable. We started with a visit from Heather's Aunt Joan her cousin Jill and husband Nick. Auntie Joan is 92 and is amazing. Jill had also taken early retirement from teaching joining Nick who had retired 18 months ago.

In the evening Tony's cousin Jen and husband Chris joined us. We had an excellent evening catching up on family gossip and also putting the world to rights. Jen and Chris are experienced campers so we also compared notes on campgrounds and experiences.

On the Sunday Hilary and Don joined us on a return visit. Despite the weather being awful we had a good time once again.
