We Enter Maryland

Bay Bridge

Waterman's Monument

In the west, we dealt with the Cascades and the Rockies. In the east, we face the Appalachians. We stick to the Interstate. Mountains have to be crossed. The climbing is not bad.

We are surprised that the traffic is light. At Hagerstown, we make a decision. We continue east on Interstate 70 and deal with Baltimore. Again, the traffic is light.

We continue past Annapolis. The Bay Bridge is crazy. Every time we cross it, there is construction. One span has two-way traffic. We avoid that span!

We stop at the Fisherman’s Inn for lunch. We have eaten here before. It is great! John has the crab soup. What else would you order in Maryland?

We pick an RV park in Maryland. It is Okay for one night. It is empty but must get very busy on the weekend. There are many sites and many rules posted. The WIFI is only at the office.

Next time we will try another route. We are still looking for that perfect last night on the road campground. Yes, tomorrow we arrive home.

Campground: Holiday Park RV
