Chuck in the rocks

Our last adventure: Rhossili, the most western part of the Gower Peninsula. There are long sandy beaches, towering cliffs, and the most beautiful views to be seen from the tops of the rock ledges. Chuck and I spent about 4 hours walking the coastline, climbing the rocks and cliffs, and after a lunch with scones and clotted cream, we walked the beach. We found tide pools, anemones, crabs...it was an awesome experience. When we returned to Swansea we went to a farewell dinner at an Italian place that Lisa picked out--- very delicious---and ended up walking along the Mumbles shoreline back to the B&B. Chuck and I walked about 12 miles today, so I guess I'll sleep well. This fabulous trip has coem to an end. Lisa and I leave at 6:45 AM tomorrow morning via cab, train, tube, and plane to get us back to Texas.
