The Buck Knife factory is in Post Falls. There is a factory tour. Post Falls is about fifteen minutes away.
We do not have reservations so we arrive at 9:00. It is a good thing that we are early. There is room on the 10:00 tour for us and one other couple. I listen to the woman returning phone calls. “I am sorry but all tours are booked for today and most of tomorrow.” We get lucky again.
The tour is great. It lasts about forty-five minutes. John is a fan of Buck knives.
Next, we stop at the Nut Factory. There is no tour but we stock up.
After lunch, we find Latah Creek Cellars in Spokane Valley. They have free wine tasting. Again, we stock up.
We make one more stop at a bookstore. I need some reading material for the way home. I have my e-reader with me but I opt to pick up a couple of paperbacks.
Tomorrow, we head to Missoula. Our plans to head to Glacier National Park have fallen apart. We called ahead and the RV parks are booked. It is the middle of July and Glacier is a very popular destination. Recalculating!
