Kenny Lake Mercantile and RV Park. Small campground with 10 electric only sites. Quite level. The usual gravel site. Drove back over Thompson Pass. Good thing I got a couple pictures the other day. Today it was totally fogged in - really bad visibility. Rained from the time we packed up until we gain up again here. Then it quit. We did get to see some of the waterfalls before and after the pass. There are tons of waterfalls cascading down the mountains. Drove out to the town of Chitina where the McCarthy Road starts and talked to the ranger. He gave us some information on the road. Said it's in pretty bad condition, but should be OK if we go slow. (it's 60 miles of dirt road and some single lane areas - been on those before) No pictures and no critters today. John's computer hooked up OK here, but mine won't. Hope the weather is better tomorrow. Looking forward to the 2 mining towns.
