|Woke this morning to a part cloudy day.
Let's get moving. Well that didn't last long. Went to roll up the awning and the front support arm holding bolt was seized. Off to the maintenance shed and borrowed a hacksaw --- fixed! Kind of! The arm is just hanging, and will have to until we get to Tweed Heads.
After all that we were out the gate at 10.00am. Headed north (when is the warmth going to find us?) through Taree, Port Macquarie and Kempsie to Sawtell. Sawtell is just short of Coffs Harbour.
Good trip till we reached Kempsey. Then the heavens opened up. Rain, rain, and more RAIN!!!
It was coming down in buckets. The good news is that it is fining up tomorrow and should be fine all next week. As I type (7.30pm) it is still raining.
We're going in to check out Coffs Harbour tomorrow (Friday) and maybe the next day, and then head to Ballina, from where it will be an easy trip into Tweed Heads next Tuesday.
Isn't that amazing? Away now for 9 weeks, and we're going to arrive in Tweed right on time!
