Some days we rest. We drive into town for breakfast. It is only five miles along the North Bank Rogue River Road. Our host warns us that it will seem like fifteen. There are no straight sections on this road.
Gold Beach has a bridge that looks like the other bridges along the coast. We have a very nice breakfast on the south bank of the Rogue River.
We go to the pharmacy and the market. Back at the park, John heads to the dock to fish. I get the printer out and catch up on monthly paper work. I also find time to do more laundry. Ah, clean sheets.
We talk over our plans. We like this park and we need a day to explore the area. We know of a beach on the river where we can look for agates. We will stay here another day before heading into California.
