The larger instrument is a Harp Guitar we had never seen or...

Charlotte Genesse Lighthouse

Lake Ontatario

Went into Rochester today about 28 miles from the campground, first stop was “The House of Guitars” counts Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Metallica, Jon Bon Jovi and Ozzy Osbourne as some of their customers. Today the musical mecca in Rochester & calls itself “The World’s Largest Music Store”, 11,000 guitars ranging from $60 to $50,000. Stocks just about every brand of instrument ( if they don’t have it they will order it ). Well guess what after having been in the shop for nearly 2 hours & trying loads of guitars out Wal bought another guitar but at least this time he traded in the one he had out here, also bought a hard case so sometime this one will go home as well!!! Off to walk along the water’s edge of Lake Ontario, walked out onto the jetty watching the fishermen & sailing boats. Another claim to Rochester is rumoured to be the final resting place of Dr J Tumuelty better known as Jack the Ripper, you can find his grave at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Evidently he was born upstate went to London and came back while being investigate for the crimes. He was never tried and died of natural causes in 1903. It is getting hotter everyday but no doubt it will turn before long.
