We had a great summer in Wisconsin. Our great granddaughter, Lily Lee Renner, was born on Aunt Nancy's Birthday, June 21. We spent time in Leroy with Tracy and her family, helped Karen move to Menomonnee Falls, and with Joel's family in Osceola. Solon Springs with my mother is our home base and I did not spend as much time in the garden as previous years because of everything that was going on. A tornado came through the Solon Springs and surrounding communities and did a lot of damage and took down some beautiful trees. Joe did some golfing but not as much as he would have liked to. Chuck and Jori had a surprise 70th BD party for Joe over Labor Day weekend and it really was a surprise since his brthday was in February. It always seems such a chore getting ready to leave for the winter but we pulled out of Solon Springs on Thursday, September 22. We had an appointment at Bill's Diesel to have the AC looked at and we were on our way. The AC is still not fixed.
