After breakfast, we hopped in Shaun's wagon to the city of Polokwane, formerly Pietersburg, to visit Safari Taxidermy who will handle our game. A distance of 90 miles to the East.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Polokwane (City of stars}; meaning "Place of Safety", is a city in the Polokwane Local Municipality and the capital of the Limpopo province, South Africa. It is also often referred to by its former name, Pietersburg. Polokwane is a major urban centre, the biggest and most important north of Gauteng (Johannesburg). The population of the municipality exceeds 500,000 (2001). Polokwane was one of the host cities of the 2010 FIFA World Cup."

The taxidermist's showroom is a remarkable scene to behold, see their website at: Hundreds of animal trophies line the walls and floors. We walked through their workplace and outside tanning preparation area. They must have an enormous business completing 15 jobs each day.

After the Valerio's completed their orders, and Madame ordering an ottoman covered with an Impala skin, we headed over to a large and very modern Mall for lunch. Then it was to the Checker's grocery store to pick up supplies for the Ranch.

But, before heading back to the Ranch, we visited a South African curio shop which took over an hour for the ladies to complete their shopping.

That was it for the day after a remarkable visit.
