The Olson's Retirement RV Adventures travel blog

Hwy. 97 South with the Fraser River alongside.

Another view of the Fraser, a very large and beautiful River.

Williams Lake, Yes the town and lake.

Another view of Williams Lake.

Lake Lac La Heche. French Lake I guess.

The roads are getting wider.

Brookside Campground camp site.

Not much to report today. We drove about 200 miles to Cache Creek. The roads are good and the 200 miles was an easy trip. Had a Lynx run accross the road in front of us. The first one of those we have seen.

One thing we did today that we have not done on this trip is turn the Air on. We had the heater on this morning and by the time we got to Cache Creek we were warm. Seems like we have found SUMMER! However, we are not in a hurry to get home to 110 degree days.

The RV park is very full. Lots of kids. Our guess is that this is their vacation before going back to school. Plus the park has a pool.

We cross the border into the U.S. tomorrow and will be making our way to Bellingham WA.
