We had a great time !

On Aug.5th Pete took me out on a two hour dinner cruise (on Lake Shasta) aboard the Cavern Queen. The cruise departs twice weekly on Friday & Saturday evenings (from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend). The food was really good, Tri-tip, salmon & chicken were served along with potato salad, fresh garden salad, a pasta salad, fresh vegetable medley, veggie skewers, fresh bread, ice tea, soda or coffee. For desert they served two types of cheesecake, chocolate chip cheesecake (very much like a chocolate moose) & Tuxedo cheesecake, which had a chocolate graham cracker crust & caramel syrup drizzled over the top of it. I don't think anyone left hungry.

The cruise was wonderful, views spectacular & we got a chance to see a couple of Bald Eagles high up in the tree tops. If your ever this way, you need to take this cruise, you'll enjoy it.
