Gary and Lola's Vacation West travel blog

Have not had internet service unless we stop at a McDonalds or other Hot spot.

We arrived at Rick and Chars on Friday the 15th. Wonderful place up on the Mountain with Deer, Elk, Moose, coyotes, running amuk among the surroundings. Saw three huge Buck deer just down the street from Ricks. We spent the weekend there and then on Monday followed them over to the Fishing Camp in washington on lake Roosevelt. Fished in Ricks Alumiweld 21'all day Tuesday and then in Ron Baileys 24" Good fishing days but not too good catching. Wednesday after fishing back to Idaho, BBQ chicken Wednesday night with thier friends Ron, Pat, Ken, Linda. Thursday dinner and Ricks birthday. Ken and Linda joined us and we made Rick and Linda wear the Sombrero at the Mex. restaurant as we sang happy birthday to both of them. Friday morning we packed up headed West on Hwy 2 and made a stop at Grand Coulee, Levenworth, WA. (Bavarian Village)followed the Columbia river to Winatchee and then to Everett. where we landed at Bob and Irma Wilsons home (Ricks Brother) and spent Friday afternoon, Saturday ( trip to Seattle and Pike street market)with Bob and Irma, then Sunday touring the area with a ferry boat ride to an island in the area. Great food at the Wilsons, Both Rick and Bob know how to treat visitors.

Left Everett this morning and headed to Mt. Rainier nat. Park and have spent the day here. Got a lot of great photos with the Old camera as I left the battery for the new Canon on the charger at Bob's. Staying the night just west of the park in a hikers lodge. Will head back up to Everett tomorrow and retrieve my camera battery. Will stay one more night with Bob and irma and then start heading East toward SD. Back roads whenever we can get off the interstate.

Will catch up on the photos when I get the camera on line.
