Maddie's excellent South Africa Adventure travel blog

Hello! Today we traveled to Hout Bay, a place with tons of cape fur seals, Cape Point (or Cape of Good Hope. Whatever you prefer), and Boulders. At Hout Bay, we took a boat out into the rough seas to go spot some seals. It was REALLY windy so the waves were high. I got pretty wet. It was fun to watch the fur seals dive into the water from there perches on the rocks. Cape Point is the southern-most point in south-western Africa. It was the windiest place I've ever been to. While you're walking and a strong gust comes, it literally blows you over! Also, there were some ostriches by the Cape of Good Hope sign. We took tons of pictures of it with the sign! It was pretty cool! After our Cape Point Ostrich experience, we headed down to Boulders, a small bay where TONS of African Penguins make their home. I got to take lots of pictures of them. We even got to see their nests and their babies. At another point, we got to walk among the penguins! It was amazing! Well, I'll talk to guys later! Miss you!

Love Love Love,

Maddie
