The party just arrived to Bang Saen and now unloading the car.

Bang Saen beach.

Bang Saen beach again.

30 January.

Back on the road again after the short visit in Chachoensao. From here we traveled south, first to Chonburi there even more relatives to Lek showed up. There was a exchange of people, some mostly older people chooses to stay in Chonburi and other people joined us for the last step to Bang Saen beach just outside Chonburi.

I am nut sure, but I think that Bang Saen is the closest public beach to Bangkok. The beach is a couple kilometers long and lined with palm trees. Since it was weekend, thousands of other Thai’s had the same idea as we, also came to the beach. It was rather packed, but we quickly found a table under the umbrellas. I also noticed that Bang Saen was rather much a Thai scene, I think that I noticed about 10 foreigners. Also I noticed that, when Thai people visit an attraction, the attraction it self very often play a secondary role. Eating, drinking and socializing come first. For me the whole day was a very pleasant experience and I was very well taken care of.

Late afternoon we returned back, first to Chonburi, to change back the persons who chose to stay there, then back to Samut Prakan there Lek and I said goodbye. We had to go back to Bangkok immediately because we have to get up early tomorrow too.
