Mike was anxious to see the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, WY. where we spent a couple of days as the museum is huge. I enjoyed part of it while Mike spent 6 hours in the "Firearms" Museum alone taking in the exhibits and collections of over 2000 firearms...a dream come true for him. Since a storm was moving into the Cody and Yellowstone Park area we headed south before the bad weather hit through the Windriver Canyon which is beautiful BUT THEN...as you drive out of the canyon you arrive in what is termed "Hell's Half Acre" and boy is that true. Stories are told by the old-timers that even jackrabbits pack a lunch through the area and we wouldn't be surprised if that was true. We spent the night in Casper and were on the edge of the storm so had lots of wind and rain but thankfully no snow. Not much to see in eastern Wyoming but oil wells (some pumping and some not) so not much to report through the area.
