We resumed our journey to Lake Tahoe this morning to rejoin our traveling guides Bill the and Nancy. The trip from Reno to Tahoe is immensely scenic and about 60 miles. We passed through historic Carson City, NV before making the long climb over the mountain into Lake Tahoe. We passed through a scary rock walled tunnel just before the lake shore as I straddled the two lanes to pass in the middle where it had the highest clearance-no sun roof today. We then arrived at the beautiful RV Park set deep in the woods surrounded on all sides and sites by towering pine trees with girths as big as a Volkswagen. I held my breath as I dodged through the trees on the narrow road to our site. Once parked I sighed greatly in relief--a long journey to Tahoe.
